How to Practice
The 3-ball half shower is an asymmetrical juggling pattern in which each hand uses a different throwing path.
One hand throws with a slightly higher arc from the outside to the inside, opposite to the cascade,
while the other hand throws a lower arc at a consistent rhythm.
This pattern helps develop timing, coordination, and rhythm.
【Practice Steps】
1. Learn movements with 1 ball
- Practice the higher arc throw from outside to inside with one hand
- Practice the lower arc throw with the other hand
2. Practice with 2 balls to get rhythm
- Throw one high arc and one lower arc alternately
- Keep heights and catches consistent
3. Try 3 balls
- Focus on timing between high and low arcs
- Practice until you can complete 3–5 consecutive throws
【Common Mistakes and Tips】
- High throw drops too low → Use larger arm motion for higher arcs
- Low throws go too high → Use wrist control for shorter, lower throws
- Rhythm breaks → Start slowly to internalize timing
【Tips for Improvement】
- Practice at least 10 minutes daily
- Break down movements into steps
- Record your practice to check timing
- Start with lower heights until stable
【Practice Time Guidelines】
- Stabilize hand movements within a week
- Aim for 3–5 consecutive throws within a month
- Once comfortable, adjust height and speed for smooth pattern
