The cascade is the basic 3-ball juggling pattern, and beginners should start by practicing with one ball.

Throw the ball straight up to about eye level with your dominant hand and catch it with the opposite hand at the same position. Repeat this motion to build consistency.

Next, with two balls, throw the first ball and before it reaches its peak, throw the second ball from the opposite hand so they cross in the air. Focus on maintaining a steady alternating rhythm.

With three balls, continue the same rhythm and throw each ball in an arc from the inside to the outside. Keeping the height consistent will improve stability and allow you to maintain the cascade longer.
